As a trainer and coach, my passion is focused on helping individuals and athletes achieve their goals through results driven programs.  I take a very simple, ‘no smoke and mirrors’ approach to health and fitness.  As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and a Certified Personal Trainer I train clients at Powerfit Personal Training in Rohnert Park.  This is a small, results-driven facility where each client is treated as an individual.  Everything I do is meant to educate, inspire, motivate and above all EMPOWER people to create the life they deserve.

I was born in Petaluma, but my family moved north towards Chico when I was 2 years old.  As a lifetime athlete, my interest in fitness and human performance began at a young age.  I took my first college-level strength and conditioning class when I was 13 years old.  After four years of high school, I moved back to Sonoma County to attend Santa Rosa Junior College.  After the JC, I headed back to Chico State to finish up my education.  I majored in history with the intention of becoming a school teacher. Fortunately I found a career in fitness training, which satisfies both my passion for teaching and physical performance.

I specialize in weight loss, MMA strength and conditioning, powerlifting, kettlebells and elite athletic performance.  I have traveled as far as Europe to teach athletes how to improve their athletic performance.  My experience ranges from working as a strength and conditioning coach for a California state ranked cross country team, training a national champion water skier, training and coaching a double world-record setting powerlifter, strength and conditioning combat athletes/MMA fighters for peak performance and helping hundreds of people lose thousands of pounds.

I thank all of you for allowing me to live my passion through serving others.  I look forward to sharing my thoughts with you!
