<p>Rancho-Cotati High, a 43-acre campus that houses nearly 6,000 students, highlights a clear path for college-bound seniors. With an average class size around 24 students, teachers have the opportunity to dedicate time to each individual student. About 75 percent of students at Rancho-Cotati High are enrolled in courses required by the UC and CSU system.</p> <p>The campus is adjacent to Sonoma State University, boardering Rohnert Park to the east. Two gyms and three athletic fields as well as a new stadium with artificial turf offer ample space for the school's 18 different sports.</p> <p>In addition to numerous Advanced Placement courses, Rancho-Cotati High also offers a program known as "career pathways" that steers students in the direction of a specialized set of classes, geared towards a major at a junior college or four-year university. "Career pathways" courses are offered in manufacturing and product development, finance and business, marketing, media and entertainment, transportation, health science and building trades and construction.</p>
