Popeyes Famous Fried Chicken
Popeyes Fried Chicken had a humble beginning in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Creator Al Copeland named Popeyes after the character Popeye Doyle from the movie "The French Connection." It has been in business for more than 30 years and won a nationwide taste test. Sam Singh manages this Popeye's location, where they offer two pieces of chicken for 99 cents every Tuesday.
