Beginning Flamenco Dance9 a.m., Footloose Dance Center
Flamenco is an intense, passionate, expressive Spanish dance form with an emotional focus. It mixes percussive footwork with intricate hand, arm and body movements. This intro for new beginners includes flamenco posture, footwork, turn, arms, hands, rhythms and palmas. Flamenco or flamenco style shoes are required. Saturday morning from 9:00-10:00am. Oktoberfest 2013
5 p.m., Novato
This 2nd annual event promises to be even larger than last year. Great traditional Oktoberfest food. Dancing to Tony Raymann and his Edelweiss OOMPAH Band. Prizes. Raffle. Silent Auction. Tickets available here.
