Williams Family Returns Home After Tragic Death in Mojave

Steven Brent Williams, 30, died last Wednesday in a off-road vehicle crash.

Following last week's deadly crash, when a Rohnert Park man was killed in an off-road crash that left his family injured, local residents have begun to rally in support of the Williams family.

. In response, the community has expressed interest in donating goods or money to the family.

"That is so sad," one reader wrote. "Yes I'd support a donation effort."

"Such a tragic accident," another wrote. "I would absolutely support a donation effort."

"Yes, of course we should do what we can as a community to help this young family in their time of need. Ideas?," another wrote.

This morning, I received an email from another local resident asking what she can do.

"I understand there's a fundraising effort for the Williams family in Rohnert Park (Brent Williams, killed in vehicle accident last week, leaving widow and two small children). Can you give me information on how to donate money to the family?" she wrote.

The Williams family, who returned home Tuesday, has set up a trust at Exchange Bank.

Checks can be sent to Exchange Bank's Rohnert Park branch and written out to "FBO Williams Family Trust Fund." The address is Exchange Bank, 6290 Commerce Blvd., Rohnert Park, CA 94928.
