Sonoma State Student Sculptures on Display Through Next Saturday

See what kind of materials students crafted their artwork with.

Art lovers won't want to miss this art display at Sonoma State University this week.

Twenty sculpture projects are on display throughout the SSU campus as part of "COMMENCE 2013."

The public art exhibit features work by SSU sculpture students, who used materials including plaster, wood, steel, clay and rope.

The sculptures are on display through Commencement on May 11. Students, faculty, staff and the local community are invited to attend an artists' reception and tour of the projects on May 7, from 4-6 p.m. beginning at the Sculpture Courtyard.
