Public Works staff is in the process of clearing out overgrown brush, shrubbery, vegetation, and other debris from J Section and Rohnert Park Expressway areas leading to the Green Music Center. The purpose of this project is to uncover overgrown pathways and improve aesthetics of the street landscaping.
City-owned sidewalks and paths are maintained and inspected by the Public Works Streets Division throughout the year in an attempt to minimize hazardous conditions to pedestrian traffic and to enhance landscaping aesthetics. Despite our efforts, trees grow and sidewalks move, causing new, undetected hazards. Reports of uneven sidewalk edges by the public are greatly appreciated.
