Public Works staff responded to severely flooded areas throughout the City on Thursday night/Friday morning. In the past 24 hours (Thurs.- Fri. morning), there was about 1.72 in. of rain, with a peak rate of 0.32 inches per hour around 2 AM on Friday. Staff worked during the night to place flood warnings and “road closed” signs in various locations. The City’s drainage system functioned very well and we were particularly pleased with the Martin Avenue pump that prevented flooding in this area.

- Commerce Blvd. and Hunter Dr.
- Enterprise Dr. and Hunter Dr.
- Galaxy Ct.
- Jasmine Ct.
- Liman Way
- Lords Manor Dr.
- Redwood Dr. at Hinebaugh Creek
- Rohnert Park Expressway (West)
- Southwest Blvd and Adrian Dr.
- Southwest Blvd. at railroad tracks
In response to the stormy weather, Public Works staff has been removing fallen leaves from storm drain grates, and the street sweeper has been assisting by cleaning the areas overwhelmed with leaves. Over the weekend, there will be an on-call Public Works employee to respond to storm related issues that may occur. We also have FREE sand and empty sand bags available at the Public Works Corp Yard, located at 600 Enterprise Drive in Rohnert Park.
