Arlen Drive and East Cotati Overlays Projects

Arlen Drive and East Cotati Overlays Projects

The Arlen Drive and East Cotati Avenue Overlays Project will repair pavement failures and apply a new layer of asphalt on the section of Arlen Drive between Adrian Drive and Commerce Boulevard, and on eastbound East Cotati Avenue between Snyder Lane and eastern City Limits.

This $1.1 million project is currently in construction. The design phase of this project was funded by Measure M sales tax proceeds. Measure M - the Traffic Relief Act for Sonoma County – was passed by the voters in November 2004 and provides for a ¼ cent sales tax to be used to maintain local streets, fix potholes, accelerate widening of Highway 101, improve interchanges, restore and enhance transit, support development of passenger rail, and build safe bicycle and pedestrian routes.

The construction phase of the project will be funded by a combination of Federal, gas tax, and Measure M funds. City general fund monies will not be used on this project.
