President Obama Plans Fundraising Visit to the Bay Area This Month
With two schedule engagements later this month, would you pay to see him?
President Obama is planning to visit the East Bay on July 23 for two fundraising stops, his press secretary announced earlier this week.
Early in the day he will attend a small fundraiser at the Piedmont home of Quinn Delaney and Wayne Jordan. Delaney is the founder and president of the Akonadi Foundation which supports youths and civil rights.

At 4:30 p.m. the president will then attend a reception at the Fox Theater in Oakland with tickets starting at $250. This is all part of the "Betting on California" tour to help raise support for the president in the upcoming November election.
