What's Open and Closed in Rohnert Park Over the Holidays?

While some essential services, such as police and fire, will be working regular hours throughout the holidays, many county and city government offices will be shut down. The U.S. Post Office will be closed on Christmas and the following day, Monday, Dec. 26, as well as the day after New Years — Monday, Jan. 2. .

City Hall and other local government offices will close at noon on Friday, Dec. 24 through Tuesday, Jan. 27, — open from Tuesday through Friday, and close again New Year's Eve through Jan. 2. City offices will re-open Tuesday, Jan. 3.

The Rohnert Park Community Center and Callinan Sports and Fitness Center is operating on the same schedule as City Hall. Spreckels Performing Arts Center will resume shows Jan. 20 with the musical "Spring Awakening."

Schools within the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District will resume classes Friday, Jan. 6. Sonoma State University resumes for Spring 2012 on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Bank Hours: Most banks are operating on Federally-reserved bank hours, which are closed Dec. 25 and 26, as well as New Year's Day.

• Chase is closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
• Wells Fargo is closed Christmas Day and Dec. 26, and New Year's Day.
• Bank of America will be closed Dec. 25 and 26, and Jan. 1 and 2.
• Exchange Bank is closed Christmas and New Year's Day.
• Redwood Credit Union: closed Christmas and New Year's.
• Bank of the West operating on holiday banking hours.
• Westamerica operating on holiday banking hours.
• U.S. Bank operating on holiday banking hours.

• Oliver's — open Christmas Eve from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Christmas Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• FoodMaxx — closes at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve and re-opens Monday, Dec. 26 at 6 a.m.
• Grocery Outlet — open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Eve, closed Christmas Day.
• Safeway — closes 7 p.m. Christmas Eve, open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Christmas Day; open 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 26; closes 11 p.m. New Year's Eve and opens 6 a.m. New Year's Day.
• Raley's — Open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Closed Christmas Day.
