Rohnert Park's sister city is Hashimoto, Japan. The Sister Cities Relations Committee meets on the second Thursday of each month at Spreckles Performing Arts Center, to increase cultural diversity awareness. The city wants to "foster international understanding and friendship through exchanges of people, artifacts and ideas with citizens of foreign cities," according to the website.
