Pet License Amnesty Week & Vaccine Clinic

Pet License Amnesty Week is part of our "Be Kind to Animals" Week Celebration, May 6-12.  If you've been procrastinating on licensing your dog or cat (both are required to be licensed in RP) or are delinquent on your license account now is the time to catch up - without the late penalty!

Stop by City Hall or the Rohnert Park Animal Shelter during our regular business hours and make your pet legal!  A license for a spayed/neutered pet is just $12 per year and $30 if the animal is intact.  License fees support our animal services which should be paid for by our City's pet owners, and ensures that our area remain safe and rabies free.

Proof of a current rabies vaccination (and altering in order to qualify for the lower fee) is required to obtain a license.  If your pet's rabies vaccine is not current we are hosting a VIP vaccine clinic at the shelter on Wed, May 9 from 4:30-6:30 p.m.  Rabies shots will be available for only $6!  No appointment is necessary for this clinic.
