Dell'Osso to Fill Coleman-Senghor's Vacant City Council Seat

The council appointed the former mayor last night.

The Cotati City Council last night appointed a former mayor to fill a council seat vacant since April due to the death of one of the councilmembers.

The Santa Rosa Press Democrat is reporting John Dell'Osso was appointed to fill the seat of former councilmember and Sonoma State University professor Robert Coleman-Senghor, who died April 9.

Dell'Osso is a member of the Sonoma County Library Commission, the organizer of Rohnert Park's Project Graduation and the spokesperson for the National Parks Service, at the Point Reyes National Seashore. 

Councilmember Dell'Osso will will complete the remainder of the term, which ends in November 2012.
