Cotati Seeking Applications for Council Vacancy

Always wanted to get involved in local politics? Here is your chance.

 

The Cotati City Council is seeking applications from residents interested in filling a vacancy following Pat Gilardi’s resignation earlier this month.

Gilardi served on the council since 2000, but left to take a position with Supervisor Susan Gorin’s administration.

Applications are due by February 28 and available online or at the Cotati City Hall.

The term of the appointment will be through December 2014.

Applicants must be residents and registered voters of Cotati and must file a Statement of Economic Interests, among other requirements. They are also required to complete and submit an application form and a Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700).

Gilardi is a former Cotati mayor and the co-founder of Cotati 4-H. She also served on the Sonoma County Transportation Authority board of directors, a position she has relinquished in order to take the new job.
