The Napa County District Attorney's Office has charged two men with kidnapping and killing a Santa Rosa man who disappeared in March.

Norberto Guerrero Gonzalez, 28, and Maurico Tovar-Telles, 23, both of Napa, are charged with the murder of Reynaldo Pacheco Pacheco, 44, on March 24.

Pacheco's body was found on April 3 near Lake Hennessey in Napa County.

Napa County sheriff's detectives found the body after Miguel Angel Garcia, 32, of Napa, told Sonoma County Sheriff's deputies during a standoff on April 2 in Kenwood that he had committed violent crimes, including a murder.

The standoff ended when Garcia shot himself in the chest, according to preliminary autopsy results.

The criminal complaint alleges Tovar-Telles carjacked Pacheco's vehicle in Sonoma County and he and Gonzalez took him to Napa County.

Pacheco left his Santa Rosa residence around 10 a.m. March 24 in his 2006 Range Rover, Sonoma County sheriff's Sgt. Shannon McAlvain said.

He was going to an unknown destination in Napa County and was supposed to pick up his child from school around 3 p.m., McAlvain said.

Pacheco's vehicle was captured on a video at a 7-Eleven store on First Street in Napa around 2:30 p.m.

At 2:40 p.m. he called a friend and asked that his child be picked up from school because he was unable to return, McAlvain said.

Pacheco was not heard from again.

The charges were filed against Gonzalez and Tovar-Telles on April 28.
