Three People Stabbed at House Party

Police respond to home for noise complaint, but violence unknown until dispatchers start receiving calls from local hospitals

Rohnert Park police are asking for the public’s help in investigating a stabbing at a house party on Saturday night that sent three people to the hospital.

Police responded to the home, in the 7600 block of Bonita Avenue, after receiving a call about a noise disturbance. More than 100 people were at the home, but they left after police arrived. Two hours later, dispatch received a call from Santa Rosa Kaiser  that someone attending the party was stabbed with a knife and required stitches.

A short time later, dispatchers received another call from a hospital in Contra Costa saying that they were treating someone who had also been to the party in “B” Section and had lacerations from a knife or bottle.

Police then received another call from Kaiser saying that another person had walked into their emergency room, this one with knife wounds to his hands. Police were able to interview the patient, who said he resides in the Bonita Avenue home, but was not familiar with the suspect and had not invited him to his home.
