Sonoma County Sheriff's detectives located what was described as "a trove of stolen tools and electrical wire" within Theiss' hotel room.

"Detectives later searched Theiss' storage unit and additional stolen tools and wire were located," the press release stated. "It appears from our investigation that a majority of the tools and wire were stolen from work trucks. Some of the stolen property had the true owners name written on the tools and several victims have been notified and have claimed their property. However, there is still a majority of suspected stolen tools and wire that have not been claimed.
