Rohnert Park Man with BB Gun, Drugs Arrested at Gas Station

Police say Christopher Clark, 47, was also on probation at the time of his arrest.

A man seen loading a BB gun at a Rohnert Park gas station was arrested this Sunday morning for violating probation and drug possession.

At about 9:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of an armed suspect loading what appeared to be a handgun at a Union 76 station near Golf Course Drive and Redwood Drive, according to Rohnert Park police.

Police and California Highway Patrol Officers responded to the area and surrounded the gas station.

The suspect - later identified as 47-year-old Christopher Clark, was located on a hydraulic lift performing work on the roof over the gas pumps, police said.

Clark was ordered to the ground at gunpoint, police said.

A BB gun was located in the lift that Clark had been using, police said. He allegedly said he was going to use the gun to shoot pigeons while he worked.

Police confiscated small amount of methamphetamine found in Clark's pocket and a pipe in his truck.

He was arrested and booked at Sonoma County jail on suspicion of violation probation, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
