The witnesses said she then made her way to her car, drove away toward the rear of a vacant grocery store, and then returned and parked her car near the laundromat, while behaving as if she was drunk.

Police arrived on the scene and found Cheryl Conley, 44, sitting in her car.

She showed signs of intoxication and was unable to stay on her feet long enough to complete field sobriety tests, police said. A breathalyzer test showed she had a blood alcohol level of .25, three times over the legal limit, police said.

Conley was taken into custody after a witness signed a citizen's arrest for driving under the influence, police said.
