Four DUI Arrests In or Near Rohnert Park Over Holiday Weekend

Police ramped up patrols in Cotati on St. Patrick's Day, which was Thursday.

Thursday marked a long weekend of partying, following St. Patrick's Day — four people were arrested in or near Rohnert Park over the four-day weekend for driving under the influence, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Police arrested Rohnert Park residents Deborah Englestad, 52, and Brock Donovan Shute, 35, Thursday for allegedly driving under the influence.

Saturday, at about 1 a.m., police pulled over to assist a motorist driving southbound on Highway 101 near Rohnert Park Expressway, who said she was out of gas. CHP officers subsequently arrested Lesley Haylock, 48, of Santa Rosa for DUI. Haylock had a prior drunk driving conviction, and is currently on probation, police said.

Also on Saturday, CHP officers responded to a report of a vehicle rollover on northbound 101 south of the Penngrove exit. Police found a 2007 Toyota Tacoma had flipped off the right shoulder of the highway. Kaitlyn McGrain, 22, of Rohnert Park was outside the vehicle when officers arrived on the scene. She showed signs of intoxication, police said. She was arrested and booked for DUI and for driving on a suspended license. Blake Hilts, 22, a passenger in the truck, was reported uninjured.
