CHP to Gather Unwanted Prescription Drugs

Don't know what to do with that bottle of medication you haven't used? Take it down to the California Highway Patrol office on April 27 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol, together with the Drug Enforcement Agency, will be accepting unwanted prescription drugs on Saturday, April 27 between 9 a.m. and 3p.m. at the Rohnert Park CHP office located at 6100 Labath Avenue.

Flushing pills down the toilet or throwing them in the trash poses a safety and health hazard. Instead, the free and anonymous drop-off service will allow you to dispose of your expired or unwanted prescription medication in a safe and healthy manner.

No appointment needed.
