Aggressive Drivers, Shoplifters and Fights Keep Police Busy

Here's a summary of some of the incidents Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety responded to over the past week

 

Samantha Weaver, a 22-year-old Cotati resident was arrested Sunday, March 17 after she was spotted driving more than 100 miles an hour near the 116 onramp and threw an ashtray out of her window at a passing car.

Zita Berhane, 19, was arrested for felony shoplifting after allegedly being caught with stolen merchandise at Walmart on Saturday.

A stolen car was reported on Joanne Court Saturday.

Two teenage girls, ages 16 and 17, were arrested Thursday, March 14 for allegedly growing marijuana in a home in the 7100 block of Burton Avenue.

Jennifer Kidder, 44, and a Rohnert Park resident, was arrested Wednesday, March 13 for fighting and being intoxicated in public.

Michelle Pitcher, 19, was arrested March 13 for allegedly receiving stolen property and driving on a suspended license.

Someone stole two checkbooks from guest staying at Motel 6 and used checks to attempt to make purchases at Raleys on Friday, March 8.

Propane tanks were reported stolen from an enclosure on Golf Course Drive on Friday, March 8.

Two cars was reported stolen on Thursday, March 7, one from Beverly Drive and another parked on Redwood Drive.
