Rohnert Park Dentist Lieu Touts Freedom Day for Military Community

Dentist and his team participated in Freedom Day by offering more than $4,000 in free dental exams, cleanings and fillings to 14 patients.

Rohnert Park dentist Anthony Lieu recently participated in Freedom Day USA, a national “thank you” movement for U.S. military personnel, veterans and their families in the form of free services and goods.

Lieu delivered free dental care to a host of military vets and their families, including Rohnert Park resident Anthony Ibarra, who served in the U.S. Army on active duty for three years – including a deployment to Iraq – and also served another three years in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Ibarra was thrilled that both he and his immediate family – including his two young children, Naveah and Ryder – could also receive complimentary dental care.

“It’s an awesome thing,” Ibarra said as he received a dental exam and cleaning from Dr. Lieu while his children enjoyed treats donated by Himalayan Beanz Coffee and waved little American flags.

“The services provided to our country by these ladies and gentlemen are very much appreciated, and we wanted to show that appreciation on this special day in our small way we could,” said Dr. Lieu, who also serves as the current President of the Redwood Empire Dental Society.
