Three Caregiving Books

Finding out your loved one needs a caregiver is hard because it means that he or she is no longer fully independent. But becoming that caregiver is even harder. Almost every caregiver will need the support and help of family and friends in any number of ways.  Along with that, additional resources you can seek out on your own may prove useful.

Options include the information made available in caregiving books, guides and planners. The beauty of the reading materials and workbooks is that they allow you to seek the information when you can. Hopefully,  you’ll find time to go through them while not in crisis. That’s a difficult time to be taking in important information.

Authors and topics vary – so the styles. I have always found non-fiction to be very useful. I think most caregivers would agree that factually information presented simply will do the trick in almost all cases.

So I’ve done some research and come across a list of books that cover a range of caregiving issues. Hopefully the titles on this list will  provide you with a sense of comfort and much needed advice.
