Caregiver Burnout

Caregiving, whether it be for a loved one or as a career or volunteer activity choice, is an extremely difficult task. With the continuation of medical advances, the population is living longer, getting older, and that means that more people will be needing caregiving for longer periods of time. There is no doubt that at times caregiving is hard  and can push a person to physically, emotionally, and financially unstable.

 It's important to know when your limits are being reached. It's also essential to have a toolkit that helps you regain/reclaim your balance.

 Just remember, that when you’re a caregiver ou've got to find time for yourself. Breathe, eat, exercise, de-stress in a bubble bath or on a nature walk and have fun.
