Kate will give a slide  presentation about the remarkable biology, benefits and history of the
beaver.  Learn how beaver could help both  urban and rural communities across California restore watersheds, recover endangered species and increase climate change resiliency.  Kate will share recent discoveries in her
research to re-evaluate the historic range of beaver in California and how you can contribute to the Bring Back the Beaver campaign.  Edward will share related thoughts and

stories from a Native American perspective.
