Wind Power: All-Brass Recital

Featuring the Trumpet Supergroup

Join us for the 4th annual Wind Power: A showcase for SSU’s wind and brass faculty. This year’s all-brass program features Studio Trumpet instructor Dave Scott and guests, theTrumpet Supergroup, a sextet of the Bay Area’s most in-demand trumpet players –

  • Dave Scott, founder
  • Mark Inouye, principal trumpet of the San Francisco Symphony
  • Mike Olmos, Northern California’s leading hard bop player
  • Erik Jekabsen, virtuoso jazz improvisor
  • Mario Guarneri, veteran performing artist and inventor
  • Doug Morton, composer, arranger and principal trumpet, Santa Rosa Symphony

Also performing will be SSU Low Brass instructor Tony Collins and guest tuba player Scott Choate. Not to be missed!
