"The Lost Bird Project" film

Join us in Heron Hall for a showing of The Lost Bird
Project, a film about five bird species driven to extinction in modern times
and sculptor Todd McGrain’s project to memorialize them. The film documents
McGrain and his brother- in- law’s 2 year journey across North America to honor
the Labrador Duck, the Great Auk, the Heath Hen, the Carolina Parakeet, and the
Passenger Pigeon. This film was shown in March 2013 at Heron Hall as part of
the Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival, and we are excited to show it again
for those who missed it.
