Community Corner

Grand Reopening Celebration

We are celebrating our move into our own building on Saturday, January 26th from 1 to 4pm!

Activities include appearances by Cotati Mayor Mark Landman and Councilman Susan Harvey, Rohnert Park Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting event,  lots of interesting practitioners and healers to speak with, or try out their skills, great food from El Torito, with beverages from The Kefiry in Sebastopol, and much more. Come and see us!

Songbird Center has created significant changes in the community by painting the 50 year old building at 8297 Old Redwood Hwy. a wonderful woodsy green and setting it off with lush landscaping.  These changes enhance the healing aura of the main gathering room including refinished wood beams, sea foam green walls, crystal glazed panels, and more.

Anticipating the expanded growth of people interested in exploring more diverse healing modalities, Songbird Community Healing Center is offering a larger variety of special events, lectures, workshops, classes, and private session spaces for mainstream, alternative, and complementary physical, mental and spiritual health.

Jasmine Gold, Songbird Director, said, “I’m very excited that more people can experience the diverse healing modalities that the Songbird Community offers. With over 15 practitioners and healers we now have a wide range of treatments to fit every need. “

Songbird Community Healing Center includes teachers, practitioners, and healers with traditional Western training, plus those educated alternatively in areas such as yoga, Reiki energy healing, dreamwork, hypnotherapy, psychic & card readings, Feldenkrais, holistic nutrition, personal growth, drumming, and sound healing.

On the second and fourth Tuesday evenings, there is a Hands of Gold Healing Clinic where you can try mini-sessions with a variety of practitioners. For a small donation, the Clinic gives you an opportunity to try different healing techniques without making a commitment.
