Female tenacity and ingenuity are personified in this classic Broadway musical about legendary sharpshooter Annie Oakley. This fictionalized adaptation of her life recounts her show business career and romance with rival Frank Butler, star of Buffalo Bill’s "Wild West Show." This revised version of "Annie Get Your Gun" scored a bulls eye when it returned to Broadway in 1999, with an updated libretto by Peter Stone and Irving Berlin's amazing score. This semi-professional Spreckels Theatre Company main stage production features the new Paradyne projection system, combining still images and animations to create multiple backdrop effects. Directed by Sheri Lee Miller.
