What's Open and Closed in Rohnert Park During Labor Day Weekend?

Government offices in Rohnert Park and Cotati will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day. 

So, what does that mean for you? Get all your government business done today. The Department of Public Safety will be closed, as will the Post Office and City Hall. 

The Cotati-Rohnert Park Regional Library will also be closed Monday (it is anyway), and most banks. Banks that are closed include:

• Chase
• Bank of America
• Exchange Bank
• Redwood Credit Union
• Wells Fargo
• US Bank
• Bank of the West
• Summit State Bank
• Patelco Credit Union

For public transit:

• Golden Gate Transit bus will be running on its holiday schedule. In Rohnert Park, the southbound bus comes to the Safeway bus stop on Commerce on 13 or 14 minutes past the hour, every hour. From 8-10 p.m. the bus comes at 20 minutes past the hour. If you're traveling northbound, the bus comes to the Commerce Boulevard station 17 minutes past the hour until 10 p.m. From 10 to 2 a.m. the bus comes at 5 minutes after hour, for those four hours.

• The Golden Gate Ferry will be running on a limited and extended schedule in observance of the federal holiday, and in recognition of the Sausalito Art Festival, which is this weekend. Get the full schedule for Sept. 3-5 here.

• Sonoma County Transit, buses that serve Rohnert Park and Cotati (10, 12, 14, 44, 48 and 26) will be running on their regular weekend schedule through Sunday. There will be no service offered Monday, Labor Day.

Grocery stores and large retailers:

• will be open 24 hours through Labor Day.
• will be open Monday 6 a.m.-11 p.m. but the pharmacy will be closed.

• will be open Labor Day from 8 a.m.-9 p.m.
• is open 24 hours. The pharmacy is closed on Sunday, but will be open 9 a.m.-7 p.m. on Monday.
•  will be open Monday from 8 a.m-11 p.m.; the pharmacy from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Restaurants:

• Season's Pizzeria Sports Bar and Grill: Open Friday and Saturday till 10 p.m. and Monday till 9 p.m.
• Big Daddy's Diner: Open Friday from 8 a.m.-8:30 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m.-8:30 p.m., Sunday from 7 a.m.-3 p.m., closed Monday.
• Black Bear Diner: Open Friday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to midnight and Monday from 6 a.m.-10 p.m.
• Sheri's: Open 24 hours.
• Applebee's: Open Friday through Monday from 11 a.m. to midnight.
• Redwood Cafe in Cotati: Open 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends, till 9 p.m. on Monday.
