SMART to Close East Cotati Avenue Crossing
Detours, delays, disruptions and construction on Rohnert Park / Cotati roads upcoming. What else is new?
is planning to close East Cotati Avenue at the railroad crossing on Friday, August 3, to begin working around the clock to install the new grade crossing. Message boards indicating the closure are in place.
During the closure, traffic will be detoured onto Adrian Drive, Southwest Boulevard, and Snyder Lane (see detour map or attached). Work is expected to be complete sometime Sunday, August 5, 2012, at which time East Cotati Avenue will reopen.

Construction crews will begin work on the . Please be aware of barricades and signs as there will be disruptions in path access throughout the project.
Preparation work will begin on the overlay project for Arlen Drive and East Cotati Avenue. Traffic should not be impacted during the crack sealing process.
Construction signs are being set up near Rancho Verde Circle for the new traffic signal which will be installed over the next couple of months. Traffic should not be impacted at this time, but please pay close attention to the construction signs as conditions will be changing.
