Rohnert Park and Cotati Spots Voted Best Local Biz

The North Bay Bohemian published the results March 26.

Three local businesses garnered the most votes for 2011 best biz by the North Bay Bohemian's annual "Best Of" contest. What do you think? What other area businesses deserve mention? Tell us in the comments below. 

Here are the Sonoma County winners and some others we think are really cool: 

  • Oliver's for best grocery store. Oliver's also got honorable mention for best natural foods store.
  • Healdsburg's La Crema Winery got it for best Pinot Noir and best Chardonnay.
  • Best toy store? The Toyworks in Santa Rosa and Sebastopol.
  • Mary's Pizza Shack won honorable mention for best kid-friendly eatery.
  • Copperfield's Books, which has locations in Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Healdsburg and Sebastopol, won for best new and used bookstore.
  • Two Rohnert Park banks, Redwood Credit Union and Exchange Bank were mentioned. The credit union was honorable mention, Exchange Bank won.
  • Best baby goat day? Yes, there's such a category. Sebastopol's Redwood Hill Farm and Creamery won readers' love on that one.
  • And, Tone in Santa Rosa won it for the best pilates studio.
  • Petaluma's Out West Garage won it for best auto repair. Note taken.
