Rohnert Park residents are worried about the guarantee of rising rents and fees due to a change in ownership at two Rohnert Park apartment complexes.
Several of the tenants rely upon federal housing subsidies and many of the tenants have reported receiving notices giving them 90 days to vacate their homes.
According to an article in The Press Democrat, a representative for the new owners stated that they plan to rehabilitate the apartment units and that they need to empty the buildings temporarily one or two units at a time to finish the work.
