Pimp Arrested at Motel 6

Rohnert Park police arrested a 22-year-old Sacramento man on charges of pimping a 17-year-old girl out of Motel 6 on Saturday evening.

An officer was patrolling the Motel 6 parking lot when he observed a man near a car with no back license plate. The officer contacted the person, who said that he was staying at the motel with his cousin. The officer went into the motel and found out that the "cousin" was in fact a 17-year-old girl from Sacramento whom the man was pimping.

Police allege that Anthony Moore posted ads online to attract customers, then drove the girl to Rohnert Park to engage in prostitution.

Moore was booked into the Sonoma County Jail for human trafficking, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, pimping and pandering of a minor, and violating the terms of his probation from a prior drug sales conviction.

The juvenile was taken into protective custody after unsuccessful attempts to reunite her with her parents.

Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety Detectives are continuing to follow-up with the case.
