Nominate Most Amazing Local Volunteer

We want to know which person gives back and loves this community — whether he or she works for a businesses in town — who deserves recognition?

We have so many great volunteers in town — and so many of them are from local businesses! 

We want to know who in Rohnert Park area makes a huge splash! Tell us who your favorite volunteers are in the comments section below, and we'll put them into a poll for everyone to vote on.

We'll accept nominations from Monday, June 18, to July 9. Then, on July 23, the voting begins through August 17. We will announce the winner in this category and the others on August 24. Visit our topic page for all the Readers' Choice information.

The writer acknowledges no "cost" to the local community for its globalized retailing.…Read More Walmart produces some jobs, and undercuts jobs at other local employers who can't compete with those low prices. THINK globally, but ACT locally! Purchase from those who keep more dollars in our community! That ain't Walmart!
