Meet The New Director For The Volunteer Center of Sonoma County

Cami Weaver is the newly hired executive director for the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County.

The Volunteer Center focuses on matching prospective volunteers with local nonprofits to help them help others.

Weaver will take over all responsibilities associated with the executive director role by overseeing all programs and events within the Volunteer Center.

Formerly, Weaver spent 20 years working for Becoming Independent, a nonprofit human services organization dedicated to people with developmental disabilities. Weaver was executive director of Becoming Independent for her last five years with the company.

Most recently, Weaver has acted as a consultant for various Sonoma County organizations.

The Volunteer Center is pleased to have Weaver on board as she brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge as it relates to social services.
