Hazardous Storm Coming Today, Expected to Last Through Christmas Eve

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the entire Bay Area region. Weather experts anticipate the storm will begin today with strong gusty winds and last through the onset of Christmas weekend.

The storm is currently moving further inland from the Pacific coast.

Plan for a very wet and rainy period  tomorrow, strong winds mix with high precipitation. There's a 90 percent chance of rain throughout the weekend.

The NWS and the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration also caution those traveling for the holiday, as urban areas and area streams may flood as the storm moves further onshore.
