Five Things You Need to Know This Week: Nov. 14-20

Happy Birthday Charles! A lot going on in Cotati, Turkey Bowl and more!

1. Make sure to RSVP this Monday for the quarterly Cotati Chamber breakfast meeting. Friar Tucks is hosting the networking event this Thursday, Nov. 17 at 7:30 a.m. Come out and listen to discussions on the Cotati Arts Project, as well as a proposed new water utility. A free breakfast buffet is provided courtesy of Friar Tucks.

2. The go around at a special Cotati Planning Commission meeting this Thursday. From 7 to 9 p.m., commission members will take on the various proposals submitted. What do you think?

3. Turkey Bowl III — this time it's serious! No, it's really not. For those who don't know, Turkey Bowling is a sports event to help raise food donations for the NOAH food bank in Rohnert Park. There is still plenty of time to sponsor a team and help this great local event that will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, in the Grocery Outlet parking lot.

4. On Saturday enjoy "Blast Off" story time with Pam Brown at the . Starting at 11 a.m., kids ages 2-6 can enjoy songs, crafts and stories together! Story times at the library are always educational, fun and free!

5. One night only at Spreckels: Come enjoy the Led Zeppelin Concert Experience featuring Heartbreaker. This national tribute band will play some of the best Zeppelin tunes of all time, starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $28 for adults and $26 for seniors while students and youth are $22. 6. Celebrate Charles Schulz's birthday Saturday! The Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center in Santa Rosa is offering free admission from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to honor the late great cartoonist. Stop on by for some fun! The museum is located at 2301 Hardies Ln., Santa Rosa. Call 707-579-4452 for more information.
