Five Things You Need to Know This Week: Feb. 14-20

Free shots, die flefermaus and oh so much more!

1. The Jewish Community Free Clinic will be having its Daytime Family Clinic at 9:30 a.m. Monday. Clinicians will provide care for minor injuries and evaluate lesser illnesses as well as providing medical education. People who need a higher level of care can receive a referral to free specialists, clinics and other services. In addition, the Evening Clinic meets on Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Also, the Vaccines for Children Program will run this week on Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Children and young adults can receive vaccines as long as a parent or legal guardian is there to sign the consent form. Make sure to bring your immunization card! This is a great ay to get those immunizations for the upcoming school year.

2. has become a quick hit in town. Maybe you should come out and see what all the hubbub is about. It starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. I'ts a nice way to break up the week with a delicious lunch outside while mingling with other RoPoians. Bring an umbrella as the forecast calls for a chance of rain.

3. (The Bat’s Revenge) takes flight this week at Sonoma State starting Thursday, Feb. 17. The Departments of Music & Theatre Arts and Dance present this edgy caper in the Evert B. Person Theatre. This week performances will run on Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. (faculty staff night), Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m. Tickets are only $9 for students and seniors and $16 for general admission (Sonoma State students get in Free.
