Welcome to Patch, Cotati

It's official, Rohnert Park Patch is expanding its coverage into Cotati.

Notice anything different? We hope so - and we hope you’re as excited about it as we are! As of today, we are expanding our coverage area to include Cotati!

We’ll now be featuring all the latest news, information and local business listings from both towns. Because so many of our users live in Cotati but work or otherwise spend time in Rohnert Park, it was just good common sense to build on our existing coverage area. Plus, who doesn’t want to know what’s going on just a few miles away?!

Don’t worry: We'll still offer the same robust coverage of everything happening in Rohnert Park.  But now we’ll be on top of the things that matter to residents of Cotati, too. As always, if you think we're missing anything, let us know!

For those of you in Cotati, who don't know about Patch. Here is a great article to teach you how to use the all the great features of the site.

While you are here, take a look at our coverage of Measure U, the ballot initiative that aims to ban roundabouts in the City of Cotati, get to know the City of Cotati's newest police officers, Find out the latest on Oktoberfest and see what's happening at one of Cotati's most popular eateries.

We are your editors, Carlos Villatoro, Karina Ioffee, Keri Brenner and Julie Pendray. And we are so happy to bring Cotati into the Patch family!

I agree! Local, organic and let's become a more healthy community. Walmart is not doing anythingRead More good with selling cheaper things for our families when its going to make us sick in the long run.

The writer acknowledges no "cost" to the local community for its globalized retailing.Read More Walmart produces some jobs, and undercuts jobs at other local employers who can't compete with those low prices. THINK globally, but ACT locally! Purchase from those who keep more dollars in our community! That ain't Walmart!
