Sonoma County's Winemaking Bachelor in the Spotlight

From an also-ran last year to the man-in-demand this time, Ben Flajnik is back.

We followed Ben Flajnik's quest for love through last season's "The Bachelorette," when the Sonoma Valley winemaker was awkwardly declined when he proposed to bachelorette Ashley Herbert on bended knee.

Now he's back, starring in this season's "The Bachelor." He made his first selection of eligible ladies on last night's episode of the ABC reality show.

Who was watching? Full episodes are available on ABC's website, though the latest Flajnik antics aren't up yet. More fun: browsing through the audition tapes of all of Ben's eligible ladies.

Expect more Hollywood lights around Sonoma – this year, the crew isn't limiting the girls to a mansion. An episode covering date antics in Sonoma and San Francisco is set to air next week, according to Entertainment Tonight.

If you tuned in, what did you think? Do you like the choice of women, or are we looking for more for our hometown man. Are you happy with the Sonoma spotlight on the show, or do you wish ?
