Imagine John Lennon in concert in 1982. The world knows John Lennon, the famous Beatle. There are numerous bands paying tribute to The Beatles' music around the world; some touring and widely successful, enchanting fans everywhere. After the breakup of The Beatles, John performed live on a handful of occasions but, unlike the other three Beatles, would never have the chance to seriously tour. He, his family, and his fans were deprived of ever knowing what that would have been like.

There aren't any bands paying tribute to the joyful and intense genius of John's solo material like The Plastic Fauxno Band. Led by Drew Harrison, original singer-songwriter, leader of The Sun Kings, and considered one of the world's best John Lennon interpreters, the band features world class musicians: Tiran Porter, Tim Gorman, Chris Solberg - former members of The Doobie Brothers, The Who, and Santana respectively, Bobby Strickland of Todd Rundgren's band, Donn Spindt of the Rubinoos and others.

The world never had the opportunity to see and hear a full-length concert of John Lennon performing songs from his entire solo catalogue. The Plastic Fauxno Band respectfully and energetically brings that concert to the stage.

If you go: Admission is $35 for VIP seating, $28 for adults; and $26 for seniors and children. To buy tickets click here. The show starts at 8 p.m. at the , 5409 Snyder Lane in Rohnert Park.

Sunday:

This intimate musical review features dance, music and comedy, highlighting the life and songs of America's favorite composer. Irving Berlin, (May 11, 1888 - September 22, 1989) was widely considered one of the greatest American songwriters in history. His first hit song, "Alexander's Ragtime Band," became world famous and sparked an international dance craze in places as far away as Berlin's native Russia, which also "flung itself into the ragtime beat with an abandon bordering on mania." Over the years he was known for writing music and lyrics that were uncomplicated, simple and direct. During his sixty year career he wrote an estimated 1,500 songs, including the scores for nineteen Broadway shows and eighteen Hollywood films, with his songs nominated eight times for Academy Awards. Composer George Gershwin called him "The greatest songwriter that has ever lived,” and composer Jerome Kern concluded that "Irving Berlin has no place in American music - he is American music." Check out the family friendly show and exciting tribute to Irviing Berlin.

If you go: Tickets are $28.00 for adults, $26 for seniors and $22 for students, military and youth. Tickets can be bought by clicking here. The performance begins at 2 p.m. at the , 5409 Snyder Lane in Rohnert Park.
