Get Out Weekend Planner May 13-15

Friday:

 presents a multi-cultural musical program featuring works by American composers as well as exhilarating music from around the world. Conducted by Jenny Bent.

If you go: Tickets are $12 general; $10 Sonoma State University faculty, staff and alumni; $8 seniors and all students free with ID. To buy tickets click here. The sweet music begins at  7:30 p.m. at , 1500 E. Cotati Ave., Rohnert Park.

Saturday:

Join us in the third annual Running with the Pack 5K/10K Run-Walk. This event is sponsored by the This year's event features a new 10K route in addition to our regular 5K. All proceeds for this fun event benefit the Sonoma County Special Olympics.

If you go:  Early online registration is $25 and closes Thursday at midnight.  After that it’s $30 and you can register at 7:30 a.m. on race day. To register click here. The race begins at 8:30 a.m. at the , 5401 Snyder Ln., Rohnert Park.

Saturday:

Wondering what your child will be learning at camp? Curious about what will be taught? Want to see your child in action? This is a great opportunity for you and your child to get a feel for what will be going on at camps this summer.

Within two hours, your child will be instructed on how to perform basic fundamentals for the selected sport and engage in fun competitions and game situations! This allows the future campers and parents to really get a feel for how to the camps will be this summer! BONUS: All participants in the Camp Sampler will be entered into a drawing to win a Free Week of Sports Camp. Click here for a schedule.

If you go: This free event starts at 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the University of Sports Fitness Center, 555 Rohnert Park Expressway in Rohnert Park (next to Target).
