French Flamenco, Karaoke at Friar's and Classical at SSU

Friday, check out Dgiin, a French-Roma-Flamenco band, at the Redwood Café. Pronounced “Gin,” the group is known for its unique style encompassing various cultures and influences and songs sung mainly in French. The band originated 11 years ago in Santa Rosa and puts on one memorable show accessible to all types of tastes and ages. All ages show. 9pm. $10. 8240 Old Redwood Highway, Cotati.

If football is not your thing, there are still tickets to hear the Trio Navarro at the Green Music Center.

Prepare to be swept away as the orchestra performs No. 4 in E Minor "The Dumky" by Antonin Dvorak and Piano Trio No. 2 in E Minor of Dmitri Shostakovich. Roy Malan on violin, Jill Rachuy Brindel on the cello and Marilyn Thompson on piano. 4pm. $15 general public/Free for SSU students. Weill Hall.
