Come Out for City's Holiday Lights Celebration

Come out Saturday night, from 5 to 7 p.m., for the city's 29th Holiday Tree Lighting and mingle with neighbors, local businesses and Rohnert Park Patch.

We'll be there to welcome in the holiday season with you, and we'll have hot chocolate and coffee on hand!

This year's holiday lights celebration is made possible by a partnership between the city of Rohnert Park and the Chamber of Commerce. The lights on the Redwoods lining Rohnert Park Expressway will also be debuted, as will new lights illuminating City Center Plaza, for the first time.

The night will also feature music from Rancho Cotate's band and and Santa photos with the kids.

Lisa Bagwell, from the Chamber, says that "many children have grown up with the tradition and continue to look forward to it as a symbol of family, home and happy holiday memories. The Holiday Lights tradition is the most cherished and longest running event in the city of Rohnert Park. They are beautiful reflections of our community spirit."
