50th Anniversary Parade and Festival

Everyone loves a parade! On Saturday, September 15th Rohnert Park will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary with a Parade, Festival and Fireworks. This will be a great community event bringing together the celebration of the City's 50th Anniversary and Rancho Cotate's Homecoming.

The parade will begin at at 10 a.m. traveling south down Snyder Lane and ending at .

The festival will be held at the at 5401 Snyder Lane beginning at 11:30 a.m. Here you will find a Show & Shine car show, craftors, kids games, food, beer, wine and a history display of the last 50 years.

The Mistress of Ceremonies is our own local entertainer, Cathy Slack and local comedian Brian Thomas. Featuring four live bands including Wonder Bread 5, Counterbalance, Rotten Tomatoes and the Poyntlyss Sistars. Don’t miss signing up to be in the Lucky Legs contest, Tri-Cycle or Bed Races!

The festivities will conclude at dusk with fireworks at the Cougar Stadium. This will be a community event you won’t want to miss!
