World-Traveling Dog Gets Treatment in Rohnert Park

Medical bills stacked at $3,500, Bailey needs help.

Bailey the dog has an amazing story. He started his life as a puppy on the streets of Taiwan, where he was hit by a car, and left to die. The accident cost him the use of his rear legs.

Bailey was taken in by a local shopkeeper, who kept him in a cardboard box. That is when the people at Brighthaven Healing Arts Center for Animals near Sebastopol heard about him, and made the decision to take Bailey in.

As you can see from the pics below (taken a year ago when my wife, Robin, and I visited), Bailey is no longer confined to a cardboard box -- or anything.

Bailey has now been taken ill, and is at the Animal Care Center in Rohnert Park. Current costs are up to $3,500, and the vets say Bailey will need surgery to survive.

Any size donation would help.  If you have it in your hearts (and pocketbook) to make any kind of donation, Brighthaven would appreciate it.
