Wet Weather to Taper Off By Thursday

The National Weather Service predicts rain throughout the night, to taper off by Thursday. Cotati Tree Lighting to take place rain or shine.

The wet weather has popped back into the forecast today and may continue through the night, according to the National Weather Service.

But by Thursday, the rain will taper off the NWS said.

Rain is mostly expected before 4 p.m., today, and there is a 30 percent chance that it will rain before 10 p.m. today. So far, the rain has caused downed trees and wet roadways in Sonoma County.

Anyone planning to attend the Tree Lighting Ceremony tonight in Cotati may want to bring an umbrella and bundle up. The lows tonight are forecast at 43 degrees.
